There wasn't much that happened, except for a humoungous tremendous battle, and golden dragon. Most of the book takes place in the elf city of Ellesmera. The fate of the dragons lies in her hands.
But what happened Christopher Paolini put into very close detail. And he is no longer human. Even though Eragon was being very stupid.
You learn Eragon's true identity. He used a lot of weird words. For every five pages there were four words that I didn't know, such as "alembic" or "sanguine." My favorite character was Sephira.
You learn how Galbatorix is gaining power in gramarye. There's a lot of dramatic changes in the story.
His fiancée is captured and the remainder of the town decides to travel to Surda, with Roran at the head. Nasuada, Ajihad's daughter, ends up with the honor (or burden). If you read my review of Eragon, you will see that I really enjoyed the book. Once he learns that the Varden are in need of help, Eragon joins the battle only to end up facing a more experienced Dragon Rider.
Story overview:With the death of Ajihad, the leader of the Varden, a new leader is chosen. The next book in the Inheritance cycle is Eldest. Meanwhile, Eragon goes to Du Weldenvarden to be trained by the Elves, and he learns that he may not be as alone as he first had thought. Like Eragon, this one is not entirely unique, but I felt closer to the characters and cared more about what happened to them. Eragon swears fealty to her in order to satisfy the Varden's Council of Elders.
Both him and Saphira grow stronger, including a transformation that Eragon undergoes at a Blood-Oath Celebration. I also really liked the character of Elva, who is a product of an unintentionally bad blessing from Eragon and Saphira.James D. I am mostly able to say the same for Eldest, with a loss of about 1/3 after reading it (and many critics trashed the book as well), but I'm a loyal reader and plan to finish the entire set (the fourth book has yet to be written as of this date) before I make a final conclusion. My thoughts:Even with the disappointments I had, I enjoyed the story. Roran, Eragon's cousin, is left to fend off an army of Galbatorix against Carvahall (their home town).
He earns the name, Stronghammer, after his favorite choice of weapons. It was a bit slow in places, but I didn't really lose my concentration. Maxon[.].
This book was for my son as a suprise. He loved it. Book was in great shape and arrived in a timley manner. thanks
This book is written very well. I'm about half way through but I am loving it.
Everyone who had written a book has the same plot. His enemies fear him and his friends see him as their savior. We left The young Aragon with his dragon hurt and with an invitation to visit the land of the elves where he will find a teacher who will help him find the inner strength he posses. I love to write and read but when I read I take the books as they come.
His connection with his dragon become stronger to the point that together they made a great weapon. Eldest. The awesome continuation of Aragon is a highly likable story full of mysteries and more magic. It is the telling of the plot that make a book great and other's not. If you didn't like it then fine, move on and since you are such an expert. This great writing and awesome tale will keep you turning the pages until late at night.
But still everything that is in the fantasy world was written by someone else a million plus times over. why don't you try writing a book better than his.Anna del C. Aragon is challenge to his limits by the elves some of whom like him and others who don't. I would never compare this one to that one. It is hard to see how others can said that this book is like someone else's.
There is only one plot to write about that is evil versus good. I do not limit myself by putting down such rules. DyeAuthor of "The Silent Warrior Trilogy"The Elf and The Princess: The Silent Warrior Trilogy - Book OneTrouble in the Elf City: The Silent Warrior Trilogy - Book Two
